Dear Sir or Madam:
We are looking for Black Elder Berry Extract /Sambucus Nigra to use it in a formula to prevent cold and flu during the winter season.
We are formulating syrups and tablets that would be a Natural yet Strong Antiviral.
If you have any suggestions in terms of amounts per 10 ML of extract, we are open to suggestions.
The active constituents: The fruit of Sambucus nigra (elderberries) contains several constituents responsible for pharmacological activity.
Among these are the flavonoids quercetin and rutin, anthocyanins identified as cyanidin-3-glucoside and cyanidin-3-sambubioside,
(3) the hemagglutinin protein Sambucus nigra agglutinin III (SNA-III),
(4) cyanogenic glycosides including sambunigrin,
(5, 6) viburnic acid, and vitamins A and C. (2).
We would like to know if you can send to us sample with certificate of analysis in order to validate the sample and proceed with the purchase order.
