1)Right now we are looking long grain for export and rice specifications is below.
A. Fit for human consumption at final destination (discharge ports) and are consumed in the country of origin.
B. Moisture: up to 14% maximum (up to 15% allowed with penalty 1 = 1 basis of contract price).
C. Broken kernels: up to 5% maximum.
D. Whiteness: no less than 40 degree minimum.
E. Red kernels and other kinds: up to 1.5% maximum.
F. Damage kernels and breakage by heat up to 0.5%.
G. Chalky kernels: no more than 4% preferred, but up to 6% maximum allowed, with a 1:1 discount to be deducted from the price for every percentage above 4% chalky kernels proposed.
H. Paddy kernels: up to 0.1% maximum.
I. Yellow kernels: up to 0.5% maximum.
J. Foreign matter: up to 0.1% maximum.
K. Pesticide residues to be within the international limit
L. Mercury, Lead and Cadmium according to the international limits. Quantity: 50,000 metric tons.
2)We require 500 MT long grain parboiled rice.Please quote C & f base.
3)Right now we have requirement of 50 tons per month calrose rice, used in making of sushi.Please quote fob and C & F base.
4)We also have requirement of Btp rice and Dtp rice at Indian Port.
Our live requirement is calrose rice broken upto 5%, moisture 13%, used to make sushi.
We are interested in import of calrose rice.
