-odour and taste free from foreign and rancid odour taste
-acid vaue not more than 0.6mg KoH/g oil
-peroxide Density not more than 10mmEg of peroxide oxygen /kg of oil
-relative Density (20 C/water at 20Oc ) 0.914-0.925
-refreative index (n40D) 1.460-1.470
Saponification value (mg KOG/g oil) 168-195
Iodine value (Wijs)
