We are looking to buy in China a hot-plate or vibration welding machine for welding plastic(PP) and polyurethane.
We are manufacturing a scrubber for washing dishes with liquid being filled into the handle and it dispenses as You wash. It is a little alike the one Quickie has but differs in shape and polyurethane sponge with harsh fiber. The main problem that we have here is putting together the sponge and the plastic of the refil.
Can You tell me the following:
1) What is the price for the hot-plate welders and tooling for our application(the size of plastic part is 65mm X 36mm X 7mm amd the sponge is 82mm X 44mm X 25mm). We are alslo ready to put an order to Your factory so that You could weld for us using Your sponges.
2) What resin is more suitable (we use polystyrol but can try PP also).
3) We use food glue from the US at the moment and the junction we get is very stiff so it doesn't come off. We need to receive the same stifness after welding.
4) Could You make samples if possible with hot plate welders for us with our plastic part and our sponge and send it here for us to test.
Attached is the sketch of the plastic part and picture of our product.
It is possible that the plastic part may need modifications for better weldind proccess or we should try different sponges to receive the best stifness level.
We need to know the price for the welders and for the job if You weld for us.
