I am a new company starting from the very beginning.
I do not yet have a designed product. I am looking for a company that can supply me with chess boards that will be 12 squares x 12 squares (not 8 x 8). The squares will be standard black & white. The squares will be 50mm each, making the playing area 600mm x 600mm. I have not yet chosen any particular material, I am however leaning towards cardboard. The boards will need to have a 25mm border, making the total size 650mm x 650mm. The boards will need to be able to fold in half (325mm x 650mm) and then fold in half again, making the folded size 325mm x 325mm. I want my game name or logo printed at two ends (the playing ends) of the board. As long as the boards can fold down to 325mm x 325mm I am open to prices using different lightweight materials.
If you can also supply chess pieces then please read on. If you can design and manufacture the packaging boxes for my game the please read the next segment also.
I require regular plastic chess pieces. These will be the normal plastic pieces that people play tournaments with. The design is standard staunton with felted bottoms.
I do not yet have a designed box to show you. I am looking for a manufacturer to design, manufacture, print, and supply the finished product to me. I will want the boxes to be 330mm square x 330 mm square x (approx) 130mm - 150mm deep.
I want qoutes for up to 3 colours.
The material has not yet been decided. As long as the finished product is lightweight and strong enough for global mail order, then all material (cardboard, plastic, etc) quotes will be taken into serious consideration.
Please supply minimum order quantities, and quotes for any or all of the above, including discounts for bulk buys. Please also include all shipping costs to Cairns, Australia, thank you.
