ALUMINIUM BRONZE
1. General: Cast copper base bearing alloy rod conforming to the general requirements of AWS classification ERCuAI-E. The composition is as follows:
Aluminum 14.0 % / 15.0 %
Iron 3.0 % / 5.0 %
Other 0.5 % maximum
Copper Balance
2. Furnish as-cast rod in the nominal diameter of 3/16. Nominal rod length will be 36.
3. The as deposited hardness will be 248 BHN minimum. The supplier will furnish one copy of laboratory analysis for each heat code shipped.
4. Rod will be packed in 50 pound boxes or 25 kg. Boxes & marked with size, grade and heat code.
5. Each lot received by DBI will be tested for acceptance.
